"Start Spreadin' the News..."

This is the 3rd time that I have tried to publish my post on NYC! Because of this fact, I will be brief. On July 15th we took a KOA bus tour to NYC. We highly recommend this, though it was costly. It's a great way to get an overview of NYC, without the stress. We left the KOA at 7:30 or so and drove into the city, via the Lincoln Tunnel at about 9:00. The first place we went was the Empire State Building where we were able to go right up, as opposed to the 3 hour wait that many people spend. The view was amazing and we were able to see just how many people their are in this massive city. From there we went to see the Statue of Liberty...Bethany and Brent's favorite part of the day. We had lunch with Brent's cousin Summer at the Second Street Sea Port. It was great to be able to meet her and spend a little time with her. She is house sitting on Madison Ave.! From there we continued to tour the city in an air conditioned bus! We toured 5th Ave. , Rockefeller Center and Times Square. I could've easily spent a week here just studying this very different place and the culture! Happy Trails
