Open Up That Golden Gate...

A drive through the Redwoods, with some stops at big, old trees, brought us to the Golden Gate Bridge. As we came into the San Fransisco area we could see the fog cascading over themountains like "fog falls". It was really a sight to see. As the fog kept falling it began to veil the bridge so that we could only see a bit of it as we came around the bend. By the time we parked we it was completely hidden. So, there we stood with other disappointed pilgrims with the great Golden Gate left to our imaginations. After purchasing some proof we were there in a local gift shop we left the fog behind us and headed to the Santa Cruz KOA.
