The Oregon Coast - August 2nd and 3rd

If all goes well, I may actually post this blog on the day of! Last night we camped at the Waldport, Oregon KOA. It was a pretty nice KOA but was probably nicer before they started building houses between it and the beach. I did laundry and the kids got to bed early. Today we slept in and were on the road at about 10:30. I think the drive north on the Oregon Coast must be better than the drive south, because we remember seeing much more beauty when we made this drive before. We got a bolt in our tire and had to get it fixed. We took it to Les Schwab Tires and not only would they not let us pay for it, but wouldn't take a tip either. Thanks Lord. I wanted to make sure I mentioned that, in order to give Les some free advertising. Now, we are closing in on the California border. California her we come...
